Instructions for Creating an Annotated Bibliography (using a pre-formatted template)

  • Step 1: Navigate to the "Annotated Bibliographies" Folder on the Student Work Part of the Course Site.

  • Step 2: Create a new page.
    • Start the process of creating a new page. You can do this by going to the tab at the top and clicking "New."  When asked for a name for the page, create a name in the format, "Jane Smith - Annotated Bibliography"
      PBWorks Create New Page tabs
    • Before you actually click the button to create the  page, choose one of the pre-made templates for the page.  In this case, choose the Annotated Bibliographies template:

    • This will  pre-format your annotated bibliographies so that that it appears as follows. Then just replace the boilerplate content on the page with your own content.

Method 2:

  • If you create your page first without a template, then you can cut-and-paste into the page the section between dotted lines below. (This is what would have been put automatically on your new page according to Method 1 above.)
  • Page Naming Convention: Example: "Bibliography by Alan Liu"

Copy between the dotted lines:
